Double Page Spread
The divide in the two pages should not matter as in a real magazine there is divide in the centrefold anyway.
Im satisfied with my double page spread because the pages run into each other and make use of an image which makes inserting text easy.
The image is appropriate, the text for the title is appropriate. The only thing that annoys me about the double page spread is that where "Choas talks" is written in dark red I wanted to use the Choas logo that I had made earlier (and put on my guitar in the front cover).
I also tried putting either the quote or the name "Tommy" at the bottom in yellow or gold but again when I tried this it did not look right.
Another idea would have been to start the first paragraph of the interview with a big letter to catch the reader's eye. Otherwise perhaps it's the background image and title taking too much of the attention.
Other than these minor setbacks I felt that my Double Page Spread was relatively successful and probably my personal favourite among these projects.
The two pages of the DPS laid next to each other, but not quite in line.
